Here we have a very interesting and underappreciated uniform from the former DDR. These Civil Defense utilities are built to withstand years of use. 

They are constructed of a poly-cotton blend fabric in green-gray color with a side zipper closure and 2 cargo pockets. They also have elastic in the waist and hem plus 3 metal D-rings for attaching suspenders.
