Although he never left France, Henri Rousseau imagined the flora and fauna of faraway places to create his lush jungle atmospheres. This tapestry was inspired by the thick orange grove and purple flowers in and is now available as a plush decorative pillow.

Designed exclusively for the Barnes Foundation, this custom jacquard fabric was produced on traditional Flemish looms, drawing on many generations of tapestry production. We’ve collaborated with a Netherlands-based studio to create a bespoke collection inspired by beloved works in the collection.
